The fluted Magellan Fire Stone collection draws its dramatic character from the way glaze interacts with basalt, an authentic volcanic stone. Glaze absorbs unevenly across its softly concave surface and varied pores, creating tonal breaks and subtle shifts in texture as it moves along the curved form. This interplay between glaze and stone produces depth that feels inherent to the material rather than applied to it.
